Tyler Joseph
Tyler Robert Joseph is the lead singer, songwriter, rapper, and producer of the group. He was born on December 1, 1988 and has been married to Jenna Joseph since 2015. They have three children together. Tyler was a basketball player in school before he decided to pursue music instead. He released his solo album “No Phun Intended” between the years 2007-2008. His solo project consists of a variety of vocal styles such as singing, rapping, and screaming with prominent piano instrumentals. Twenty One Pilots’ first album is similar in style compared to Tyler’s first album considering they were released within a short amount of time from each other
Josh Dun
Joshua William Dun is the drummer of Twenty One Pilots. He does occasional backup vocals in the studio and live versions of their songs. He also plays the trumpets in a few of their songs as well. Josh was born on June 18, 1988, and he is married to Debby Ryan. They both have a dog and a cat. Josh joined Tyler in 2011 after the two previous members left the group. He participated on their second album “Regional At Best”, which was released within the same year as Josh joining the band. Josh’s icon is an alien whereas Tyler’s icon is a skeleton. Josh has had collabs with the drum company, SJC, where he released custom drumsticks and drum parts with the band’s branding.
