    Blurryface is the fourth studio album that was released on May 17, 2015. It contains fourteen tracks and is the duo’s most successful album. Six singles were released during the album promotions consisting of “Fairly Local”, “Tear in My Heart”, “Stressed Out”, “Lane Boy”, “Ride”, and “Heavydirtysoul”. Stressed Out became their first single to reach 1 Billion views on YouTube, and it’s currently at 3 Billion views as of 2025.

    Blurryface has a different musical sound compared to their previous albums such as Vessel and Regional At Best. The duo embraced a heavier sound to fit the themes of mental health and the struggles that many people deal with.

    The Emotional Roadshow Tour

    The Blurryface promotional tour began on May 11, 2015 and concluded on June 25, 2017. This would mark their final appearances in the public until their return in 2018 with the beginning of the Trench era. “Heathens” was released in 2016 for the Suicide Squad (2016)movie at the height of the duo’s popularity. This song was added to the set list after its release. They performed a few covers such as “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley and “Where is the Love?” by The Black Eyed Peas.

    Trench is the 5th studio album that was released on October 5, 2018. Trench was the beginning of the lore that was introduced through the music videos starting with “Jumpsuit” and “Nico and the Niners.” The duo went on hiatus after the end of their Blurryface era and went completely silent. A video of an eye was posted to their official YouTube channel which would start the beginning of the Trench era. The release of “Jumpsuit” and “Nico and the Niners” was posted without any promotions on July 11, 2018.

    Trench was the follow-up album after the massive success they had with Blurryface. Six singles were released with five of them being accompanied with music videos. The introduction of Ned was premiered in the Chlorine music video, and he remained as the mascot usually associated with merchandise related to the Chlorine video. He is featured throughout their sixth album “Scaled and Icy” as well.

    The Bandito Tour

    The duo began “The Bandito Tour” on October 16, 2018 and it concluded on November 9, 2019. They performed “Taxi Cab” from their debut album as well as covers such as “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls and “Hey Jude” by The Beatles. The main colors used for Trench are Yellow and Olive Green to represent the yellow duct tape Tyler and the Banditos use to symbolize their cause.

    Clancy is the seventh studio album that was released on May 24, 2024. There are 13 tracks with 4 singles released before the album was released. “Overcompensate“, “Next Semester”, “Backslide”, and “The Craving” were released between the months of February and May. Each song is accompanied by a music video that was premiered in a livestream through the official Twenty One Pilots YouTube channel on May 24.

    The duo began the “Clancy World Tour” on August 15, 2024 in Denver, and it will conclude on May 14, 2025 in London. Their setlist contains songs that range their entire discography starting from their self-titled debut album “Twenty One Pilots.” A fan-favorite song, ‘Slowtown’, was performed on the first night of the tour, but it was replaced with ‘Oldies Station (Clancy 2024)’ for the remainder of the tour.

    Three of the 13 music videos follow a narrative that Tyler created to conclude the timeline of the character, Clancy. “Overcompensate”, “Navigating”, and “Paladin Straight” follow the lore of Clancy escaping DEMA with the Banditos. Clancy was introduced in Twenty One Pilots’ 5th studio album “Trench” during the music videos for “Jumpsuit” and “Nico and the Niners.”
